Mild dish soap- For slightly dirty grout.
Mix 1-2 drops of soap in 18 oz of water. Use a small scrub brush to clean grout and rinse with warm water when finished.
Oxygenated Cleaners-For moderate stains.
Mix a solution of oxygenated cleaner such as Oxyclean according to package directions. Use small scrub brush or toothbrush to scrub on the grout and rinse with warm water when finished.
Baking Soda or White Vinegar-For those wishing to use green cleaning techniques.
Mix equal amounts of either baking soda or vinegar with water and use a toothbrush or small scrub brush to scrub grout. Rinse with warm water when cleaning is completed.
Chlorine Bleach- Use with caution, can discolor tile. Spot check before using to clean entire floor.
Mix 1 part bleach to 4 parts water. Spray solution on grout and let sit for a few minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Hydrogen Peroxide and Water-Caution use only on white grout!
Mix equal parts water and hydrogen peroxide into a cleaning solution. Apply to grout using a spray bottle and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
