Our Story

It all began in 1993.

My name is Rhett Freeman, and my wife’s name is Suzanne. After graduating from Ricks College with an associate degree, I was attending Idaho State University while working at a group home for individuals with disabilities. One of my responsibilities was cleaning the carpets, which often became dirty from spills and accidents. We only had a small portable machine, and despite my best efforts, I wasn’t always satisfied with the results.

I’ve always been a bit of a clean freak, so I began looking for better ways to clean carpets. That curiosity led me to attend carpet cleaning classes in Salt Lake City. It was there that I fell in love with the profession. I learned techniques for removing stains I had never been able to get out before, and I discovered that there was far better equipment available than what I had been using. I was also surprised to learn that people were making a successful living cleaning carpets.

The idea of starting a carpet cleaning business as a part-time job while attending school became very appealing. Around that same time, I noticed there were many rental properties in Pocatello, and Suzanne and I had just purchased a duplex of our own. Whenever tenants moved out, the carpets needed cleaning. That experience made me realize that many other landlords likely had the same need.

With that in mind, I purchased a quality carpet cleaning machine and began offering my services to anyone who needed help with their carpets. Business started slowly, but over time I was blessed with several large accounts. Before long, I had more work than I could handle while attending school. It was a difficult decision, but I chose to leave school and pursue carpet cleaning full-time.

What I enjoy most about this business is working hard, meeting new customers, and helping make their carpets and upholstery look great again. There is a real sense of satisfaction in restoring something that looks worn and tired.

I also owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to my wife, Suzanne. She handles all of the bookkeeping and accounting, and this business simply would not run without her dedication and support.
